Responsible Operators of Amusement Rentals

Mission: To develop a “culture of safety” among owners and operators of amusement rental structures including the development of a code of ethics, the adoption of safety guidelines with respect to regulatory agencies and attraction manufacturers/suppliers, and the implementation of an operator training and certification program.

Safety Programs

Educational Programs & Seminars

ROAR training/orientation.  PART 1 of the process is a classroom type training program for front line employees and your entire staff. You can email Phil at pslaggart@msn.com or call him at 561-758-3266 to schedule your company's training and give him inspection locations.

IAAPA, Thursday, November 8:30 AM - 12:00 noon
Speaker, Phil Slaggert, (President Mobile Midway Safety Institute)

Offered in conjunction with the OABA and ROAR, the purpose of the ROAR Certified Inflatable Safety Inspector Course CISI is to enable those who successfully complete the course to: identify hazards found in the setup and operation of inflatable amusement devices. This 4 hour course will help you to, accurately record compliance with an established criteria, uniformly and fairly evaluate like circumstances found in different setup environments, educate owner/employees concerning results of inspections or evaluations, and apply the results to improving the safety of inflatable amusement device operations.
